Introduction

A hole seeder is a planting machine that sows seeds in holes according to a certain row spacing and hole spacing, also known as a spot seeder. Each hole can be sown with one or more seeds, in single or multiple hole sowing, and is mainly used for medium crops such as corn, cotton, beets, sunflowers, beans, etc. Each unit of the seeder can complete the entire operation process of furrowing, sowing, and covering the soil.

Features

The hole seeder is mainly composed of a frame, a seed box, a seed meter, a furrow opener, a soil covering and a suppressing device. The frame is composed of a main crossbeam, a travel wheel, and a suspension frame, while the seed box, the seed meter, the furrow opener, the soil covering device, and the suppressing device constitute the sowing unit. The sowing unit is connected to the main beam through a four-bar profiling mechanism, and can follow the ground up and down. The number of units is equal to the number of sowing rows, and the seed meter on each unit is driven by the travel wheel or the suppressing wheel of the unit. The hole distance can be adjusted by replacing the sprocket. When working, the travel wheel drives the seed meter to rotate through the transmission chain, and the seed meter discharges the seeds in the seed box into holes or single seeds, and falls into the seed groove opened by the furrow opener through the seed delivery tube, and then the soil is covered by the soil covering device, and finally the suppressing device covers and compacts the seeds. The main working part of the hole seeder is to realize the single seed or hole placement of seeds by the hole former.

Application

Mainly used for row crops such as corn, cotton, beets, sunflowers, beans, etc., also known as row crop seeder.
